I often tell people that I’m a strategist by nature, and a creative by choice. When I was 12, I downloaded Photoshop and began designing video game covers on vgboxart.com. It started out as an after school hobby, but it quickly became an obsession. Once I left Queen's College High School, and my home island of 21 x 7 miles in The Bahamas, I found my true passion in advertising. Before I knew it, a Bachelor of Science degree in Creative Advertising from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island was in hand… Summa Cum Laude to boot.
The least you can expect someone like me to do is make you a good flyer. But knowing why you choose one color over another, or one platform instead of another to put your brand on, is how you create work that’s special. That’s where I come in - with experience in art direction, copywriting, marketing and social media management, my job is to find creative answers to good questions.
When spelling my name and advising my clients, I give the same advice: don’t forget the ‘y’.
